Welcome to The First Tee of Greater St. Louis!
Our Mission
Our mission is to impact the lives of young people in the Greater St. Louis area by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.
Since becoming a chapter in 2006, we have been very busy! We started programming in June 2006 at Triple A Golf Course (The Highlands) in Forest Park. That fall we added a programming site at Eagle Springs Golf Course in North County and ended up serving 181 youth. Since then we have added 10 additional programming sites and started an outreach program that we take to schools, after school programs, different YMCA's and Boys & Girls Clubs. In 2011 The First Tee of Greater St. Louis served 2,600 youth in the Greater St. Louis area.
The First Tee of St. Louis is a 501 (c)(3) corporation, a charity, and relies on fund-raising activities and donations received from clubs, corporations and individuals. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
