Our Programs

Birdie Level

The Birdie Level of The First Tee Program is the third of five levels that students will journey through while in this program. The students who enter this program have shown a commitment to the program by successfully meeting all Par Certification requirements.

Eagle Level

The eagle level is a huge achievement. Students in this level have shown a commitment to The First Tee Program and to the game of golf. To get this far young people have had to be committed to the life skills program.

Eligibility/Age Limit

Membership in the First Tee of Greater St. Louis is open to all young people ages 7 to 17. Early, safe and fun, experiences help participants and parents develop interest in the game, and engage in instruction and play at The First Tee of Greater St. Louis. The First Tee of Greater St. Louis "Little Linkster" class is available for children ages 5-6.

How the Program Works

Once a student joins The First Tee of Greater St. Louis golf and life skills program, he/she begins training to achieve PLAYer Certification, the first official certification level in The First Tee curriculum. Training includes golf and life skills classes, and on-course play.

Little Linksters

The First Tee of Greater St. Louis offers The Little Linksters Class for children that are 5 and 6 years old. This class is designed to provide a basic introduction to The First Tee curriculum and Nine Core Values for children that are not quite old enough to participate in the certifying programming.
